thursday (well, friday, but whatever)! it's my mom's birthday tomorrow (today) and i'm EXTREMELY HAPPY!!! wednesday night i went to the sickest concert that you didn't go to.

ok, lemme set the scene. CBGB. after italian dinner. meet up with 1/2 bouncing souls. chizzill with andrew and james from against me! (for those of you that don't know, the ! is in the name, fuckface) while watching world/inferno friendship society. then got the BEST spot in the pit. yes, the one RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STAGE and i had about 5,000 pounds of human flesh, sweat, and hair pushing my knees up against the stage. i also hit my head on james's mic stand which was great. last song was "we laugh at danger and break all the rules" and it KILLED!! everyone got up on the stage and i TOUCHED TOM GABEL'S GUITAR. so after that, we said SEEE YA and left (but met up with warren and tom before we left).

so let's see, this weekend is gonna be fun because it's the all-anticipated warped tour and i'm gonna spend HOURS AND HOURS looking at rusty's jewelry because i am obsessed. check out www.pnutjewelry.com and you'll be amazed at all his stuff - it's the best. a friend of his and debbie's was at the against me! show and she had a black-colored-silver bracelet of rusty's and i asked him if he was bringing them to warped and he said it was the only one he made. it was awesome - brass knuckle and dagger pendants on it. astounding.

so let's go through the emo bands this year! fall out boy, starting line, reliant k, mest, senses fail, mxpx, and story of the year. i'm one to say this is a new low. HELLO!!! last year - BOUNCING SOULS, BAD RELIGION, VANDALS, CASUALTIES, LARS AND THE BASTARDS. where have all the punks gone? this pisses me off, but at least i get to see atreyu and thrice again.

i gotta go wrap my mom's birthday gift! happy birthday!!!
